Vincent Palmeri wrote a paper title Quantitative Data Analysis. This paper was written during the class English 201 2014. His Quantitative Data Analysis paper is biased in his research of using different languages. Palmeri wrote this paper for his English 201 class. The main audience was professor and his classmate. However since the paper is posted in blog, any one can be audience. Any one who is interested in this topic since the paper is available to be looked on his blog can read that paper. But the main audience that he wrote for is the professor. The writer’s purpose for this assignment is the language in context of use; such as method of using the language for communication and division form other languages. Palmeri is showing how many different types of language we use for day even though if a person is not a bilingual. He points out to some of daily used language such for example phone texting, emailing, talking to our friend, academic English, girlfriend language. All those types of communication even though could be in same language they are very different from each other.
The writer is trying to convince his audience biased using ethos logos and pathos. He is using logos in the way that he delivers his writing by given references and studies and statistics. Pathos by telling stories how different people use the language for different purpose. And ethos by using the main technics in his writing confidence in delivering his thought and using good sources to support his idea.

Comparison and Rhetorical Analyze Paper
Three years ago for the first time in my life I started thinking sometimes in English that happened after I moved to New York and I learned a little bit English. Almost a year later exactly date 03/08/2012 I created a piece of writing for my first time in English. Writing in English was new to me by that time, however it will become a habit for me though. The history of my writing in my native language goes back 22 years ago and continuing also in nowadays developing in English writing.
In 2010 after I graduated in my country, I applied for a lottery, which is for allowing legal immigrant in United State. I was lucky and I won the lottery. Coming from the some of the smallest country in the world to the biggest country and biggest city such as New York was very challenging. Was challenging for me for many reasons but to stay in the topic I will mention only one which was that I moved here with out knowing any English at all. By that time the biggest concern were if a police is going to stop me for suspected, how I’m going to be able to express myself. And the second concern was how I’m going to find out how to put myself into the truck of education. Starting from those biggest concerns, I begun to take English classes at private local schools in the Bronx. From there I build my conversations skills and I applied to Cuny as transfer student. After a wail John Jay College accepted me.
When I was ready to start by that time at John Jay College weren’t enough students of my level of English to open a class. The director of the English department David Christopher recommended starting taking a program called Clip, which was available only in community colleges. I decided to attend Clip program at Bronx Community Collage, which was convinced for me because I live in The Bronx.
In the Bronx Community Collage was written the first piece of my English writing at the clip program. This piece was as you may image full mistakes, in few words was almost in Albanian language and not in English. In this writing were so many grammar errors; there was no structure, no punctuation, and no articles. The first paper that I wrote in English was just letters thrown in a piece of paper. I remember sweating and being very stressful because of my assignments. I remember an Albanian phrase which have been associated with me by that time and the phrase meaning is that ‘’ when you don’t have mind to use you have feet to walk’’ which is basically that when you don’t know how something it works you have to work more, like twice or more of someone who knows or who has the knowledge of how the things works. That means I had to work in my own a lot in order to complete my assignment. I worked in my own because after school I couldn’t attend to the writing center because of some of few disadvantages of living now in biggest. Those disadvantages were that, I had to work in order to pay my bills. I put effort in my self in order to achieve my goal of educating my self. This path wasn’t easy for me but I’m glad that I went through this because it makes me even stronger.
This piece of paper was written in order to summarize the first book that I read in English titled ‘Amistad’. This book was about a bout forty-nine kidnapped African, which they were on the way to be sold in America. The first draft of this paper was mixed Albanian language and English. But with the support of my professors at the clip program, which they gave me draft after draft feedback and they taught me the path how to write in English finally this paper after seventh draft have been checked and marked as complete.
However all this struggle it pays me of because right now I’m in English 201 at John Jay College which means my writing has growth to another level. For example last semesters at John Jay College I took English 101. In that class I learned how to write different types of writing. In English 101 class I learned how to write research paper, how to do an interview and how to write creative nonfiction story. These types of writing I discovered in that class. Different now from the first paper that I wrote long time ago at Bronx community college now I fill conformable and I like everything I write.
Last semester I was asked by a professor to write nonfiction story. I wrote this story on spring semester 2014 for English 101 class. This story will be read by professor and by my classmates because everything had to be on blackboard. This fact makes me feel uncomfortable with my writing and I had to pay extra attention and to proofread many times before it will be published. Even though my writing now is to another level as a nonnative English writer and speaker I have deep fear while I do each assignment. This fear camas because I always believe that in my writing skills has space for improvement. When I got this nonfiction story to write I did not have any idea how to do it because I never wrote non-fiction story. I have been exposed to only a type of writing, which was responding essay, biased in article. The non-fiction story I thought it would be the hardiest assignment but I was wrong. I got the directions from my professor and through the guideline of the writing center this assignment were transformed to my favorite assignment. It became my favorite because in that paper which is about a young kid, which was born some ware in north of Albania. Wail he was raised same as in the story that we read in class English 201 that was always space for more goods. This kid grows up as adult even though he was just a child. In the age 14 his father emigrated and now this kid beside the school from now one he has also to work. When I wrote the story I changed the name of the person in that story. I did not want to say that story was about me. After English 101 I feel even more comfortable and I can say that was about me. Also this fact shows how I have became a better writer compare with the last semester which I hided the real identity of my personage in my non-fiction story. This story not only changes and raised to another level my writing skills by learning a different style of writing, but also make me feel very strong emotionally. This story makes me feel strong emotionally because I feel that has a lot of me inside of this story. Some of the assignments that they helped during that class were, to do not compare myself with some one and to find our own voice. Those assignments and with help of the writing center which I attend regularly they helped me to find my way of writing.
My inspiriting to be educated is supported by the pieces of my life or by those different artifacts of my life. When I go back and I remember, where I was and how much effort I put into my self, wail I have been working full time and attending full time in school. These facts give me courage and power to continue to achieve my goals even though I have a lot to do but I know that I’m not any more same as I was when a wrote that piece of writing at clip program.

Rhetorical analyze of nonfiction story
Not so back in a time I was asked by a professor to write nonfiction story. I’m the author of this story which I will describe later on in this rhetorical analyze paper. For you who don’t know my name I’m Jetmir Arifaj and I wrote this story on spring semester 2014 for English 101 class. This story will be reddening beside the professor also by my classmates because everything had to be on blackboard. As a nonnative English writer and speaker I have deep fear while I do each assignment. This fear camas because I always believe that in my writing skills has space for improvement. When I got this nonfiction story to write I did not have any idea how to do it more or less my feelings were almost pretty same as I felt after I walk from the today’s class which I had to start for the first draft of rhetorical analyze.

In this non-fiction story in the beginning I was confuse but when I start writing I couldn’t stop my self. I wanted to put every single detail on this story of this child. This story not only changes and raised to another level my writing but also make me feel very strong emotionally. This story makes me feel strong emotionally because I feel that has a lot of me inside of this story.

Rhetorical analyze of my piece writing from English 101 class and also using ethos pathos and logos
This piece of writing is from English 101 class that I did last spring 2014. The genre of this writing is interview. I interviewed three people and one of them was authority. I did this interview for English 101 class. This paper had to be posted on black board. This means that beside the teacher this paper had to be read also by my classmates. This interview wasn’t easy for me because was my first time exposed to this type of writing. In this piece of writing I used ethos pathos and logos without knowing what I’m doing and I will explain how and when I used later on in this rhetorical analyze.
The team of the English 101 class was fear. According to the team of the class we have to interview three people about their fears and later on in that semester those interviews we had to use for the final research paper that it will be biased on fear. The interview paper was helpful for that class because I used my and classmate’s interview as sources for my final research paper.
I used ethos because I interviewed the authority person, which I interviewed in order to make my interview interesting and reliable. Also I used ethos when I was trying to convince my friends to interview them and too corporate with me in order to talk about the topic that I was working on it. In the interview assignment I used logos because the interview topic was about fears. Since the topic is about fears people whom I interviewed they have to tell me about they fears and what they do to overcome in their fears. Three of my interviewers they have different ways and approaches to overcome in their fears and therefore this can be countable as logos argument. During this assignment I used pathos when I have to convince my two friends to share their fears with me. The way I did is that I shared my fears with them and I told them from what I’m afraid of. And after this they start talking about their fears to.
